Below are answers to some of the frequently asked questions we receive about how the RTDC platform works.

What do courses include?

Each course is created, owned and managed by the instructor(s). The foundation of each course are its lessons, which can include videos, slides, and text. In addition, instructors can add resources and various types of practice activities and quizzes, as a way to enhance the learning experience of students. 

How do I take a course?

Courses are entirely on-demand. You can begin the course whenever you like, and there are no deadlines to complete it.

Courses can be accessed from several different devices and platforms, including a desktop, laptop, and our mobile app. 

After you enroll in a course, you can access it by clicking on the course link you will receive in your confirmation email (provided you’re logged into your RTDC account). You can also begin the course by logging in and navigating to your profile page. 

Do I have to start my course at a certain time? And how long do I have to complete it?

As noted above, there are no deadlines to begin or complete the course. Even after you complete the course you will continue to have access to it, provided that your account’s in good standing, and Ricasi Consultancy Limited continues to have a license to the course.

Is Ricasi Consultancy Limited an accredited institution? Do I receive anything after I complete a course?

While Ricasi Consultancy Limited is not an accredited institution, we offer skills-based courses taught by experts in their field, and every approved, paid course features a certificate of completion to document your accomplishment. 

Is there any way to preview a course?

Yes! Every course has lecture(s) the instructor has selected for a free preview, so students can sample the course content and their teaching style. To start a free preview, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the course image or course title to proceed to its Course Landing Page.
  2. Next, click on the Curriculum tab on the right side of the landing page then scroll and click on the lesson(s) with the eye icon on the right-hand side of the lesson title.
  3. Now you’ll be able to watch the lecture(s) selected by the instructor.

How can I pay for a course?

RTDC supports several different payment methods, depending on your account country and location. After you find the course you wish to enroll in, click Buy Now on the course landing page. You will be directed to the Checkout page, which will feature the various payment methods that are available to you.

Depending on your location and what country your RTDC account is registered in, your payment methods may include the following:

MPESA is a supported method of payment for courses in East African countries.

Bank Transfers may be an option for all students in Africa.

International Credit And Debit Cards: we accept most major international credit and debit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover.

PayPal is a supported method of payment for courses in most African countries.

What if I don’t like a course I purchased?

We want you to be satisfied, so all eligible courses purchased on RTDC can be refunded within 30 days. If you are unhappy with a course, you can request a refund, provided the request meets the guidelines in our refund policy. For steps on how to request a refund, please click here.

Where can I go for help?

If you find you have a question about a paid course while you’re taking it, you can search for answers to your question in the course group forum or ask the instructor.
